Essential Question #10

What are we using the Flash program to create? Tell me at least 5 terms and explain them that you learned as we did practice with Flash.

We are using Flash to make a short story about whatever we want. We learned about the clipboard and stage areas. The clipboard is off to the side of the stage and is where things are held that aren't in the story at that time. The stage is the main part of the story. We learned about the timeline, which is the parts of the story in order, that you can edit freely. We learned how to use the deco tool. The deco tool is a tool that adds designs to the area clicked. We learned about tweens. There are 3 types of tweens; Classic Tween, Motion Tween, and Shape Tween. The classic tween is used to move an object in a straight line. The motion tween is used when you want to give and object an arc when moving. The shape tween is used on shapes, and it turns one selected shape into another selected shape.

Essential Question #9

How did your company presentation go? What was the best part? What was the weakest part? What is the main thing you learned during this presentation?

Our presentation went really well. The best part was when we explained how we would make our product. The worst part was when they shot our product down. I learned that making a business is harder than I thought it would be.

Essential Question #8

Reflect on the progress of your company project.

We started out brain storming about ideas on what our companies could sell. When we knew what we would have to sell we made logos and then a business plan. We are currently working on our commercials. The next step is finishing our presentation.

Essential Question #6

This is my favorite logo because it looks clean and straight. I started out with the word Custom at the top then I put Hats on the bottom. I noticed that the Ts match up so I put an and symbol between them. I had to make them pop out so I changed the color of the Ts and the & to red. I saw that there was a lot of open space so I put a hat on the H of Hats. I changed its color red so the red and white would balance each other. I made the background that color because I seen it as a neutral color with a good balance of red and white. The letter weren't popping out like I wanted them to, so I messed around with the effects till they were to my liking.

Essential Question #4

What do you think goes in a business plan? What are the parts? Is research involved? What facts do you need to know, if any? Where could you find this information?

I feel like there is a lot that goes in a business plan. You will need an idea of what you are going to sell or distribute. You would need goals that your business can reach some time in the future. I feel that research is probably one of the biggest parts of a business plan. You will need to know where you will be getting supplies for your business and when they will arrive. You should be able to research company's that will send you supplies that you need and how much you will be spending on the supplies on the internet.

Essential Qusetions #3

Explain at least two difference between Photoshop and Illustrator. Which one do you like better and why?

When you zoom into photoshop you see little boxes and when you zoom into Illustrator you don't. Photoshop is used for little photos and uploading to the web and illustrator is used for billboards and things that are large. I like illustrator better because it has more useful tools that I like to use.
